Getting Started

Everything you need to invite Donut Bot to your server and get it running in under five minutes.

Introduction

Donut Bot is a feature-rich Discord bot focused on economy and games to keep your community active. Leveling, moderation, tickets, an in-server economy, games, an AI chat module and some utility commands — all running under one roof with one consistent dashboard. This documentation covers every public feature, command, permission and configuration option. If something is missing or wrong, open a ticket in our [support Discord](https://discord.gg/VCYACxaZdj) and we'll fix it. NOTE: COMMANDS IS NOT FINISHED!

5-Minute Quick Start

Get Donut Bot running on your server in five steps: 1. Invite the bot using the Add to Discord button or https://donutbot.de/invite. Pick the server from the dropdown and authorise the requested permissions. 2. Configure the features you want in the [dashboard](https://donutbot.de/dashboard) or just enjoy using the economy, AI and games. 3. Enjoy the features of DonutBot on your server! Everything else in this documentation is optional.

Invite & Authorisation

Inviting the Bot

Click the Invite Bot button in the navigation bar. You'll be redirected to Discord's official OAuth screen. Select your server in the dropdown menu and done!

OAuth & Dashboard Login

The dashboard uses Discord OAuth2 to authenticate you. When you click Login, you'll be asked to authorise identify (access to your profile picture/name) and guilds (know what servers your are in). We never touch your account token, password or email. Once authorised, the dashboard lists every server you own or have admin permission in. Pick a server and you're redirected to its configuration page.

Permission Model

Donut Bot respects Discord's permission hierarchy. Slash commands are only runnable by users with the right permission.

Configuration

Using the Dashboard

Every feature of Donut Bot has a corresponding panel in the dashboard at https://donutbot.de/dashboard. You can configure: - Welcome, Farewell, Join-Roles, Levels, Counting, Tickets, Logging, Anti-Bot, Sticky Messages Changes are saved automatically and pushed to the bot within seconds.

Command Prefix

Donut Bot is a slash-command first bot — every command works with /. You may ping @DonutBot <message> to write with DonutAI.
